As in any other aspect in life, it is dangerous to have conversations with strangers on the Internet. Just talk to friends or relatives, and never give out your home address or phone number.

 

Be cautious of this sort of thing – Phishy Stuff! 🐟

You know any time you get a strange message which instructs you to click on a link or download something? That might actually be phishing scam! AND it’s like a fake email designed to make u release all your personal info. Especially if something appears too good to be true then you should always consult an adult. 

Update Your Gadgets! 🔄

You know those updates in the form of a notification? Pretty people are not just there to annoy you! He means updates solve the security issues that affect devices so they can be safe.

Fun Fact: Hackers vs. White Hats 🎩

Not all hackers are bad! And some are called white hats and these moth are like the cowboys from the old west movies. With these powers they are able to work for the companies to look for loop holes in their systems and seal them from the bad hackers. Is that not awesome.

 

Cyberbullying—Not Cool! 🚫

There are nice people in the Internet and there are bad people just like in the school or tremendously in the school yard. Cyberbullying is when one or more children or youths send multiple threatening, aggressive or unpleasant messages to another person over the Internet. When, God forbid, that ever happens to you, don’t bury it! Sometimes, speak with a parent, a teacher, or any other adult of trust – they are always ready to assist.
